Our Service Managers are responsible for developing new sales opportunities by building relationships with building owners, building managers, plant managers etc. They also work to develop sales by maintaining relationships, continuing to sell to existing customer accounts, and referrals. The Service Manager must be able to recruit and manage highly sufficient staff to provide professional service to their customer base.  This role requires technical expertise and skill to sell and manage commercial HVAC Service and Retrofit projects.  Must be detail oriented, organized, and possess the ability to work independently, efficiently, and pro-actively to reach goals and objectives.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, maintain, or repair HVAC devices, or related equipment, following blueprints of Mechanical layouts.

  • Attend business meetings and networking meetings as needed to promote Powers Mechanical Service and Retrofit Projects.
  • Stay informed of changes in the industry, including trends, new products, and changes in regulations.
  • Troubleshoot issues to a successful resolution for the customer.
  • Travel to client sites in varying weather conditions is routine part of the work. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Service.

    • 5+ Years of commercial HVAC service.
    • Two or more years of management experience, preferably HVAC or engineering field.
