Learn more about working at Thiess. ## The Opportunity Are you an experienced Serviceperson with a passion for maintaining heavy mining equipment and supporting safe, productive operations? Thiess is seeking motivated Servicepersons to join our high-performing team at Peak Downs Mine. As a key member of the Peak Downs maintenance team, you'll play an important role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of our mining fleet through equipment servicing, refuelling and workshop support activities. **Roster:** 7/7 Even Time | **Location:** Peak Downs Mine, QLD | **Employment Type:** Permanent Full-Time ## As the Serviceperson, you will: - Service heavy earthmoving equipment - Conduct refuelling operations across the fleet - Assist fitters with maintenance activities as required - Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the workshop and work areas - Perform general workshop duties while supporting a safe and productive work environment ## About you - Previous experience working as a Serviceperson in an open cut coal mining environment - Standard 11 - R11SAM212E Service Mine Plant and Equipment Statement of Attainment - Current Driver's Licence (HR Licence preferred) - Service mine plant and equipment competencies - Demonstrated experience in the mining, heavy earthmoving or hydraulic excavator industry - Strong commitment to safety and a positive safety culture **Desirable:** - Working at Heights - EWP High Risk Licence - Forklift High Risk Licence - Confined Space - Franna Ticket ## What's on offer At Thiess, our people are the heart of everything we do.
