THE ROLE:

The Service Supervisor will be responsible for providing level supervision to technicians of a homogenous nature at a single site, with responsibility for attraction, retention, engagement, performance and development.  This role will manage department expenses, expected to escalate significant employee relations issues to management and provides day-to-day direction of fundamental tasks.


 This role creates onsite visibility into KPIs and metrics and can provide input into metrics to manager, has 1st level leadership capability and received coaching and guidance from senior management.


 This role also ensures product, system, and water quality and is responsible for monitoring/maintaining appropriate inventory levels.

Travel Requirements:

• Some travel required

• 20%-80% travel depending on division & location (overnight stays, away from home)

• Driver Application for Employment

• Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

• Forms: Driver Disclosure and Release


Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement

o FMCSA Certificate of Awareness o Driver Certificate of Violations

o Driver Statement of On Duty Hours Road Test

o Copy of Driver’s License

QUALIFICATIONS:  Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/technical degree or equivalent military experience preferred Experience Requirements:

• Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.) • Industrial or commercial process water experience required

• Clean driving record

• 5 to 7 years of technical work experience or 2 years of industry specific experience

• Combined with 2 years of leadership/management experience


Skill Requirements:

• Proficiency with computers and business software, such as Microsoft Office, Skype, Oracle/SAP, cloud-based solutions

• People management

• Ability to communicate up/down/across

• Ability to lead and motivate teams

• Demonstrates critical thinking and complex troubleshooting in order to guide and advise team members and customers

• Ability to defuse situations at a customer or internal issue.


SALARY: The estimated salary range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000 plus bonus.   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
