We’re looking for a Service Technician Electrical to join our team in Malaysia, in our Johor Depot, where you'll play a pivotal role in servicing our customers, maximizing the availability of TC and Power rental assets including maintenance and repairs of equipment as well as carrying out installations, commissioning and decommissioning.

What you'll do:

• To perform all mechanical or electrical installation tasks in support of new and existing machinery working from engineering drawings or schematics, with minimum supervision. This will include equipment such as a generator, transformer, load bank or temperature control equipment.
• To troubleshoot machinery failure or breakdown (mechanical and electrical) and to perform remedial action while referring to equipment manuals or electrical schematics with minimum supervision. This will include equipment such as a generator, transformer, load bank or temperature control equipment.
• Technically Competent, preferably within a Power Generation Environment.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of diesel generators, distribution panels, switchgears and Loadbank.
• To be able and ready to travel as and when required for on / off-shore jobs.
• Site/Depot based job requiring both technical and manual work to be conducted in all weather and terrain.
• To be able to use a variety of analog and digital measurement equipment for electrical and mechanical parameter measurements.
• Liaise with internal / external customers of work in progress
• All work should meet suitable standards of craftsmanship, standard codes and specifications, established Company practices, and within assigned guidelines, ensuring that the technical, scope, budget, quality, delivery dateline, health and safety and environmental objectives are achieved.

To thrive in this role, you'll have the following skills and experience:

• Min Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in the Electrical and Mechanical field experience in the field a plus.
• A4 Chargeman – certified issued by the Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) is a must.
• Technically Competent, preferably within a Power Generation Environment.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of diesel generators, distribution panels, switchgears and Loadbank.
• Minimum 5 Years of Experience in Diesel Engine OEM, Rental power company or Utility maintenance comprising DG set, chillers etc.
• Effective troubleshooting capability and ability to read electrical drawings.
• Availability to travel as and when required. Site(Project)/Depot(Workshop) based job.
