Position Overview:

Taking direction from the department Supervisor, Floor Service is responsible for coordinating and ensuring production operators are equipped with sufficient supplies and work to meet daily production goals, including sewing, down filling, and sorting operations.

What You'll Do:

• Review the factory loading schedule daily with your supervisor to gain a clear understanding of production targets.
• Review the approved production sample and specifications with your supervisor before beginning production for each released purchase order.
• Take ownership of your department by supplying continuous work for operators.
• Communicate with your supervisor in advance if operators will be running out of work so the supervisor can prepare for changes if needed; distribute work fairly to all operators.
• Responsible for taking panels or garments to be recut/replaced and putting them back into production as soon as possible to catch up with the rest of the order.
• Keep the section organized by cleaning up thread cones daily and storing them on the shelf until the order is complete in the department.
• Transfer completed work to the next appropriate department.
