What you'll do
- Perform a variety of chemical analyses on samples using advanced analytical instrumentation (e.g., GC, HPLC, ICP-OES, UV-Vis, AAS) according to established methodologies and standard operating procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Interpret and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability, and reporting findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Implement and adhere to Quality Management (QM) principles and practices, including strict adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS) protocols.
- Conduct internal quality control checks and participate in external proficiency testing programs.
- Identify and report non-conformances, participate in root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all analytical work, calibration data, and quality control activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve departmental and company Strategic Objectives.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff as required.
- Work effectively within a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
