- Prepare documents such as bills of lading
- Correspond with order management as well as factory representatives to rectify problems so that customer needs dates can be met
- Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for transport
- Contact carrier representatives to make transport arrangements
- Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise: Make necessary verifications against documents, prepare the merchandise, move merchandise to the appropriate area, and handle customer pick-ups
- Assign, tag, and store received inventory to proper location
- Receive parts to stock that have come in from external suppliers
- Ensure products are properly packed and labeled
- Maintain safe and clean working area
- Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
