  • Data extraction and analysis skills (JMP/ILM/REL/PCS/SQL Scripting).
  • QnR/Process/device/product engineering experience.

  • Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and structured problem solving.
  • SPC/DOE principles and data analysis.
  • Exposure to the methodology of qualifying optical devices, test methods to evaluate the device's performance and reliability (HTOL, THB/DH, MSV, TC, HTS, ESD etc.), and failure analysis.

About the Role

Intel's Silicon Photonics Quality & Reliability team is seeking a Silicon Photonics Quality & Reliability Engineer to support reliability assessments, qualification activities, and technology development for advanced photonic devices and photonic integrated circuits (PICs).

In this role, you will work closely with process integration, technology development, design, manufacturing, and quality teams to evaluate device reliability, analyze data, investigate failures, and support the development of robust qualification methodologies. This position provides an excellent opportunity for engineers who are passionate about photonics, semiconductor technology, reliability engineering, and continuous learning.

What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Support reliability characterization and qualification activities for silicon photonic devices and technologies.
  • Analyze reliability, characterization, and manufacturing data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $122,440.00-232,190.00 USD
