Site Junior Civil Engineer/Project Scheduler (Primavera P6)

As part of our continued growth in renewable energy, AFRY is strengthening its capabilities to support the delivery of utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects across the Philippines.

We are currently seeking a motivated and technically strong professional to join our team as a Project Scheduler (Primavera P6). This role will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, supporting project planning and execution, and ensuring timely delivery of solar energy projects. The position will contribute to efficient project coordination, proactive risk management, and the successful implementation of projects within a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and international working environment.

Job Description

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to define project timelines and milestones
• Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect actual status
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and critical path activities, and propose mitigation strategies
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and schedule analysis for stakeholders
• Support project managers in planning, forecasting, and resource allocation
• Review contractor schedules and ensure alignment with overall project timeline
• Ensure compliance with project controls standards and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in project scheduling, planning, or project controls
• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 (mandatory)
• Experience in engineering, construction, energy, or infrastructure projects is highly preferred
• Good understanding of project lifecycle, critical path method (CPM), and scheduling principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English
