The Role

We are looking for two Site Quality Officers to join our Microbiology team, with one position based at our Carlisle site and one at our Shrewsbury site. If you are passionate about Microbiology, have a keen eye for detail and are committed to maintaining high quality standards, we would love to hear from you.


As a Site Quality Officer, you play an essential role in a team by maintaining and enhancing the ALS Quality Management System. We are seeking candidates with demonstrated experience in auditing and method validation, as you will be responsible for conducting audits and thorough reviews of validation protocols and reports, and ensuring compliance with current SOPs and procedures.
  
Your strong analytical and technical background will be essential for leading and documenting investigations, tracking non-compliance issues, and overseeing the proficiency testing program. You will also assist in managing equipment calibration schedules, deliver staff training, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across the site.  

The Details

  • Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent, On-site

  • Working Days: Monday to Friday

  • Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Location: Carlisle and Shrewsbury
