  • Knowledge in Confined Space Monitor, Fire/Spark Watch, Arial/Elevated Work Platform and Fall Arrest.
  • Ability to build productive working relationships with all departments on site.
  • Ability to take initiative and responsibility as well as be depended on.
  • Ability to organize for the day’s task and adapt effectively and safely to changes in priorities;
  • Ability to communicate and approach work in a professional and effective manner.

  • Experience or demonstrated ability in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or other applicable trade.

Job Description

De Beers Group has an opportunity for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join the Site Services team at the Gahcho Kué Mine site based in the Northwest Territories. Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, this position is responsible for, the ability to safely and effectively operate equipment and take responsibility for equipment and tools provided to carry out tasks. The ideal candidate will be one who enjoys multi-tasking, is results oriented and is committed to safe working practices, striving for zero harm.

This is a fixed-term position to June 2027.

Key responsibilities:

This is a site-based position with 14 days on/14 days off rotation.
