SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off shift pattern - 42 hours per week

Job Summary 
The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations at the assigned site, ensuring proper coverage, supporting team member performance, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and delivering strong client service. This role helps coordinate schedules, respond to issues on shift, coach officers, and make sure site expectations are consistently met. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Supervise daily activities of security team members at the assigned location 

• Ensure all posts are covered and staffing issues are addressed quickly 

• Monitor officer performance, attendance, appearance, and adherence to site procedures 

• Conduct shift briefings and communicate post orders, updates, and priorities clearly 

• Support onboarding and training of new security team members 

• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and client concerns in a timely and professional manner 

• Complete incident reports, shift logs, and other required documentation accurately 

• Partner with leadership to address performance concerns and recognize strong performance 

• Help maintain compliance with company policies, client expectations, and safety requirements 

• Perform routine site inspections to identify risks, gaps, or service issues 

• Build a professional working relationship with the client and support day-to-day communication 

• Assist with scheduling, call-offs, and coverage adjustments as needed 

Requirements

 

• Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence. 

• Previous experience in a security role. 
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred 
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills 
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure 
• Basic computer skills for reporting, scheduling, and communication 
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed 
• Knowledge of site procedures, safety expectations, and incident response practices 
• Preferred Skills

• Ability to lead by example and hold standards consistently 
• Professional client-facing communication 
• Ability to coach, train, and support team members
