Skilled Laborer - Primoris Heavy Civil - Holden, LA

Job Overview:

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a skilled laborer to perform various physical tasks supporting construction projects in Holden, LA. This role involves assisting craft workers, operating basic equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized worksite.

Job Responsibilities:
* Perform general construction labor including shoveling, raking, digging, and lifting materials.
* Assist with the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures, scaffolding, and forms.
* Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and other vehicles.
* Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
* Operate hand and power tools, such as drills, grinders, and hammers, under supervision.
* Assist skilled craft workers (e.g., carpenters, pipefitters, operators) with their tasks.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
* Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus.
* Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
* Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
* Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Holden, LA.
