Smallgoods Team Member - Full Time
We are seeking an experienced Smallgoods Team Member to join the team at our Cambridge butchery and commercial kitchen, on a full-time basis.
As a Smallgoods Team Member you will work as part of a small team to create a range of smallgoods including hams, terrines, pates, cured, smoked and dried products as well as fresh and cooked sausages to be sold primarily in our ten Hill Street stores and under the Wursthaus brand.
You will need:
Previous experience working with smallgoods (trade certificate desirable but not essential)
Hands-on knowledge of sausage and ham production
Demonstrated skills in batching and brining
A love of working with food and people.
Energy, initiative and willingness to take direction
The ability to follow company procedures and regulations, particularly regarding food handling and workplace health and safety.
Extremely good attention to detail, being able to focus on the finer details, such as quality control, recipe methods and presentation of all products.

Pay rates are determined by the Meat Industry Award. The level classification and pay rate of the successful candidate will be based on experience (base hourly rate = $26.60 - $29 per hour).
