We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to support our clients with data warehousing and analytics solutions in dynamic, enterprise-grade environments.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with enterprise-level data teams, helping design and optimize scalable data pipelines and reporting layers using the Snowflake cloud data platform.

Job family: Data Engineering / Cloud Analytics / Data Warehousing

Minimum Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud-based data warehousing
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Strong SQL development background

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Advantageous: Snowflake or cloud data certifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Responsibilities may vary per engagement, but typically include:
• Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ELT processes in Snowflake
• Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Integrating Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools
• Supporting data modelling efforts for enterprise data warehouses and analytics
• Collaborating with business analysts and BI developers to ensure efficient data delivery.
• Implementing best practices for performance tuning, cost optimization, and security in Snowflake
• Maintaining documentation of data processes and workflows
• Ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with governance standards

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

 

• Solid experience in Snowflake data warehousing, including schema design, SnowSQL, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in SQL, with a strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing principles
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g. dbt, Matillion, Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with version control and CI/CD in data environments (e.g. Git, DevOps pipelines)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
