Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a creative, commercially minded, and results-driven Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist to manage and grow the digital presence of a leading automotive and car financing company.

The company specialises in luxury vehicle sales, car dealership services, and vehicle financing/loans.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging digital content, growing the brand's online audience, generating qualified customer enquiries, and converting social media engagement into vehicle sales and financing leads.

This is not purely a content creation role. We are looking for someone who understands how to use social media as a customer acquisition and revenue-generating channel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company's presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
  
• Develop and execute weekly and monthly social media strategies focused on brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and sales.
  
• Create engaging captions, posts, Stories, Reels, videos, and other content promoting vehicle inventory, financing options, promotions, and campaigns.
  
• Work closely with videographers, content creators, and designers to produce high-quality content.
  
• Identify and leverage social media trends, customer interests, and market insights to develop relevant content.
  
• Respond promptly and professionally to comments, DMs, and customer enquiries.
  
• Engage with prospects, understand their needs, qualify leads, and direct them towards appropriate vehicles or financing options.
  
• Develop sales-focused campaigns designed to generate enquiries and convert prospects into customers.
  
• Promote available vehicles, car financing solutions, special offers, and other company services.
  
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure social media leads are properly followed up and converted.
  
• Monitor social media analytics, including reach, engagement, enquiries, leads, and conversions.
  
• Use performance data to continuously improve content and digital marketing strategies.
  
• Support paid social media advertising campaigns and optimise campaigns for lead generation.
  
• Grow the company's social media audience organically through consistent and engaging content.
  
• Maintain a premium, professional, and consistent brand image across all digital platforms.
  
• Track and report on leads generated through social media and their contribution to sales.
  
• Continuously identify new opportunities to improve digital engagement, lead generation, and revenue.
  

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, content marketing, or a related role.
  
• Minimum of an HND.
  
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other major social media platforms.
  
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging, creative, and commercially focused content.
  
• Strong understanding of social media lead generation and customer conversion.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Strong customer engagement and relationship-building skills.
  
• Ability to respond professionally to customer enquiries and handle social media conversations effectively.
  
• Good understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
  
• Strong creative mindset with excellent trend-spotting abilities.
  
• Strong sales orientation with the ability to persuade, upsell, and cross-sell.
  
• Ability to work effectively with content creators, videographers, designers, and sales teams.
  
• Knowledge of Meta Ads and other paid social advertising platforms is an advantage.
  
• Experience in automotive, car sales, car financing, luxury products, financial services, or other high-value consumer products is an advantage.
  
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and take ownership of digital performance.
  
• Comfortable working in a target-driven and performance-focused environment.

• Competitive monthly salary of ₦200,000 – ₦300,000 NET + commission.
