Social Media Manager (w/m/d)

What you can expect 

As a Social Media Manager (f/m/d) at Kess, you will take ownership of our social media channels, with a strong focus on Instagram and TikTok. You will develop creative content concepts, bring them to life independently, and stay on top of platform trends, algorithms, and performance to continuously optimize our presence. 

As part of our Social Media & Communications Team, you will contribute both strategically and operationally. You will think beyond individual posts, helping to shape content formats and define how Kess is perceived as a modern beauty brand. Guided by our brand identity, you will create aesthetic storytelling, strong visual concepts, and ensure a consistent brand experience across all social touchpoints. 

Your responsibilities include: 

• Develop, execute, and continuously evolve our social media strategy, with a focus on Instagram and TikTok. 
• Concept, produce, edit, and publish high-quality, platform-native content (video and static), including video editing and copywriting. 
• Create and manage content calendars while monitoring social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes. 
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional marketing teams to ensure a consistent and impactful brand presence across all channels. 
• Identify, select, and manage relationships with relevant content creators and support creator collaborations. 

What we expect from you 

• 3+ years of professional experience in Social Media, Content Creation, or a related role, ideally within a consumer brand or creative agency. 
• A strong eye for aesthetics and creativity, with a deep appreciation for clean, minimalist brand design. 
• Passion for social media, beauty, and lifestyle, with a natural curiosity for emerging trends and platform developments. 
• Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Canva. 
• Excellent communication, copywriting, and storytelling skills. 
• A highly organized, self-driven, and hands-on working style with strong problem-solving abilities. 
• Ideally, experience with - or confidence and enthusiasm for - appearing in front of the camera. 
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level).
