Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join the team at St Stephen’s Hospital, Cork, supporting service users across acute and community care pathways.

Location: St Stephen’s Hospital, Glanmire, Cork

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and care planning
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support
• Liaise with internal teams and external agencies
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care
• Ensure compliance with professional standards

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work with CORU registration
• Experience in hospital or community healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent organisational and case management skills
• Compassionate and client-focused approach
• Full driver’s licence and access to transport required

Hours

• Full-time hours
• Flexibility for reduced hours where appropriate
