What you'll do
- Own and evolve the software architecture for next-generation escalator control systems, covering embedded real-time control, functional safety, and IoT connectivity
- Lead architectural decisions across multiple MCU and Linux-based boards, defining system interfaces and communication protocols
- Drive cybersecurity and functional safety architecture aligned with IEC 62443 and IEC 61508
- Establish architectural standards, coding guidelines, and design patterns for the embedded SW team
- Collaborate with global architecture community to align local design with company-wide platform direction
- Mentor team members on architectural principles and conduct design reviews
What they're looking for
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field
- Minimum 10 years in embedded software development, with at least 5 years in a software architect or senior technical leadership role
- Deep expertise in embedded real-time systems: RTOS, bare-metal firmware, and Linux-based platforms (Yocto/Buildroot)
- Proven experience with safety-critical systems (IEC 61508, ISO 26262, or equivalent) and cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443)
- Expert knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, RS485, Modbus, MQTT, TLS
- Excellent English communication skills. Chinese native speaker preferred.

- Experience in elevator, railway, automotive, or similar industries is a strong plus
