Amazon Now (Quick Commerce) — is one of Amazon's largest and fastest-growing businesses, operating across 8+ marketplaces (India, MENA, North America, EU, UK, Japan) and powering adjacent businesses like India Fresh and Healthcare. The platform handles >0.7MM orders/day, scaling to 2MM by year-end.
As an SDE2 on the Tez CX PIXEL team, you would work at the heart of Amazon Now's quick commerce platform. IXEL owns the end-to-end in-store shopping experience, from homepage and browse surfaces through personalization, live cart, single cart and checkout, deals and value surfacing, AI-driven merchandising, and geospatial CX.
The systems are Tier 1, serving 2,000+ TPS as the canonical worldwide platforms for shopping, ordering, and savings. The role directly impacts conversion, basket size, and checkout completion — the metrics that turn platform growth into revenue. The team is made of multiple Sr. SDEs and are working on first time in Amazon initiatives which will scale beyond India and grocery.
