The Search Results and Recs experience team owns the UI layer for Expedia Group brands and B2B experiences across web, iOS, and Android. As a Software Development Engineer II, Full-Stack, you will build React-based user interfaces, backend capabilities, APIs, and reusable platform components. You will contribute to configurable experiences that help brands make changes using no-code or low-code tools updates for every layout or content adjustment.
In this role, you will:

Experience and Qualifications
Required
Approximately 2–3 years of software development experience.
Experience with full-stack development across frontend and backend systems.
Experience developing with React.
Experience with Kotlin backend development; strong Java and or Scala experience may be considered as an alternative.
Experience developing and integrating APIs.
Understanding of API design considerations, including the impact of additional calls, traffic management, and error handling.
Experience using existing component libraries.
Proven ability to deliver software and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Ability to work across frontend, backend, APIs, and platform capabilities.
Preferred��
