About the Opportunity

Are you looking for the rare opportunity to build a massive system from the ground up? We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our r team and spearhead a complete project using the latest cloud technologies.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind the development and advancement of our backend services for insurance offers. You will design eligibility and configuration logic, integrate with critical dependent systems, and ensure our production services remain highly reliable. If you thrive in environments where you can take end-to-end ownership and make foundational technical decisions, this is the team for you.

What You Will Do

As a Software Engineer II, you will work independently while shaping the technical direction of the team. You will be responsible for the development, performance, and scaling of services, components, and internal systems.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer building and scaling high-performance backend systems.
• Experience working with modern AWS architectures
• Strong understanding of observability, reliability engineering (SLIs/SLOs), and production monitoring.
• Experience dealing with highly concurrent systems and A/B testing or experimentation platforms.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring and AWS.
• Should have experience with Logs and Unit Testing
• Role is 70% coding and would need to pass Hacker rank test
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.
• A product-minded approach: you care just as much about the customer experience as you do about clean code.
