Job Description: 

Software Engineer 

We're seeking a Software Engineer with a strong foundation in responsive web design and modern web development technologies. As a member of our software team, the successful candidate will work across multiple stages of the software development lifecycle, including planning, designing, developing, testing, and deploying software. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop user-friendly, responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js. 

• Build and maintain reusable frontend components and modern web experiences. 

• Ensure all web design is optimized for the best possible display across multiple devices. 

• Develop full-stack applications, including frontend features, backend functionality, and system integrations. 

• Build and maintain frontend integrations with Magento, Strapi, and other headless commerce and content management platforms using REST and/or GraphQL APIs. 

• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code as per specifications. 

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle. 

• Contribute to team discussions on system architecture and design. 

• Identify opportunities for system enhancements and help implement improvements. 

• Maintain and upgrade existing software, ensuring continued compliance with internal standards and industry best practices. 

• Debug, test, improve, and redesign tasks as necessary. 

• Prepare technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes. 

• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 

• Strong foundation in responsive web design and frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 

• Familiarity or hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, or other modern frontend frameworks. 

• Familiarity with full-stack software development, backend services, and system integrations. 

• Familiarity or hands-on experience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs and integrating frontend applications with eCommerce or headless content management platforms such as Magento or Strapi. 

• Familiarity with software design, testing practices, and development in a test-driven environment. 

• Knowledge of coding best practices and principles. 

• Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies or similar collaborative development practices. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 

• Ability to work well in a team environment.
