Job Summary


We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Testing Engineer with 3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have experience in functional, regression, integration, and API testing, along with a strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and functional requirements.
  • Design, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
  • Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing.
  • Execute manual testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Perform basic API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Validate data using SQL queries.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
  • Ensure product quality before release.

Required Skills

  • 3 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
  • Good understanding of:
    • Functional Testing
    • Regression Testing
    • Smoke Testing
    • Sanity Testing
    • Integration Testing
    • System Testing
    • UAT
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases.
  • Knowledge of Defect Life Cycle and defect reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar bug tracking tools.
  • Basic knowledge of API Testing using Postman.
  • Good understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) and REST APIs.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for database validation.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  2. 2-4 years of experience in Software QA Engineering
  3. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
  4. Experience with manual and automated testing techniques
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  6. Strong communication and collaboration skills
  7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
