About this role
As a Solution Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of technical sales professionals focused on helping customers achieve their business and technology goals through Microsoft solutions.
This role combines people leadership, technical strategy, customer engagement, and partner collaboration. You will empower your team to build trusted advisor relationships, drive technical wins, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and accelerate customer adoption of Microsoft technologies. You will also work across Microsoft and partner ecosystems to develop strategic plans, enable technical readiness, and ensure consistent execution across customer engagements.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Solution Engineering team, fostering technical excellence and customer impact.
- Build relationships with customer technical decision-makers and guide teams to deliver successful customer engagements and technical wins.
- Develop and execute technical sales strategies that align customer business objectives with Microsoft solutions.
- Collaborate with Microsoft teams and partners to drive solution adoption, customer success, and business growth.
- Oversee solution design, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical engagements to help customers achieve their transformation goals.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field and 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience; OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 6+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience; OR
- 7+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience; OR
- Equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, technology delivery, or related experience.
- 6+ years of experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure, architecture design, migrations, or technology management.
- 3+ years of people management experience, including leading virtual teams.
