Full description from employer

Are you passionate about helping partners accelerate their customers' cloud journeys? We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join our partner go-to-market team at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where you will architect technical solutions and enable partners to deliver Agentic AI, data, and migration and modernization workloads on AWS. You will collaborate with partners and internal teams to define scalable architectures, build proof-of-concept implementations, and shape go-to-market strategies that help customers solve their most pressing business challenges. This is a compelling time to join as the team is investing heavily in building the foundation for Agentic AI and data services, creating an opportunity for you to influence how partners bring these capabilities to market.

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with regional teams and partners to define and execute go-to-market engagement strategies for Agentic AI, data analytics, and migration and modernization workloads.
- Design end-to-end solution architectures for partner engagements, applying best practices for security, scalability, reliability, and performance while identifying opportunities to simplify and reuse patterns.
- Create technical enablement content — including reference architectures, blog posts, and workshops — and present at events to educate partners on AWS AI and data services.
- Drive product feedback by translating partner and customer input into technical requirements for AWS service teams, helping shape the roadmap for AI and data capabilities.
- Provide architectural guidance and mentorship across the partner community, participating in peer design reviews and sharing best practices that raise the collective technical bar.

A day in the life
You might start your morning reviewing a partner's proposed Agentic AI architecture, providing feedback on design trade-offs before joining a working session with an AWS service team to discuss an upcoming feature launch. After lunch you could lead a proof-of-concept workshop with a partner's engineering team, then spend focused time drafting a reference architecture that other partners can reuse. Your week balances collaborative sessions with partners and internal stakeholders against heads-down time for technical content creation and solution design.

About the team
Our team within AWS focuses on enabling partners to bring AI, data, and modernization solutions to customers worldwide. We work at the intersection of technology and go-to-market strategy, ensuring partners have the architectural guidance and enablement resources they need to deliver successful outcomes. As we build the foundation for Agentic AI and expand our data and migration capabilities over the coming months, you will play a direct role in shaping how these technologies reach customers through our partner ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications

- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
- Working experience across the agentic AI, generative AI, and data landscape. This experience would include designing and implementing agentic AI systems, building generative AI architectures, developing machine learning models, and architecting data solutions.
- Expertise in agentic AI frameworks, generative AI, ML/AI services, data analytics, and databases
