What you'll do

  • Meet with customers to assess warehouse operations, storage requirements, productivity goals, budgets, and existing site conditions.
  • Develop detailed AutoCAD warehouse layouts and pallet racking designs that address site access, operational needs, and applicable building, fire, egress, and safety requirements.

  • Verify warehouse conditions and pallet racking materials onsite and communicate relevant design and project information to the Project Management team.

A day in the life

The Solution Designer, MHE supports Prologis Essentials customers by developing warehouse and pallet racking designs that improve storage capacity, operational efficiency, and site functionality. The role works directly with customers to understand warehouse operations, storage requirements, productivity goals, and budgets, then translates those needs into detailed AutoCAD layouts and design proposals. This position partners with structural engineers, estimators, sales teams, project managers, vendors, and other design professionals to develop code-compliant solutions and support projects through permitting and handoff. The role also verifies site conditions and helps ensure design, pricing, and construction documentation are accurate and complete.

Key responsibilities include:

Hiring Salary Range of:

$106,000-140,000 Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
