What you'll do
- Identify and evaluate suppliers across Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Central America, Latin America, and other strategic sourcing regions.
- Conduct market intelligence activities to assess supplier capabilities, pricing, capacity, and regional sourcing opportunities.
- Lead supplier qualification processes, including capability assessments, financial reviews, quality audits, and compliance evaluations.
- Manage RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes to support supplier selection and sourcing decisions.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and long-term commercial agreements to achieve cost reduction and value creation targets.
- Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses and sourcing recommendations for leadership review and decision-making.
- Monitor supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, quality, delivery, and risk metrics.
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Logistics, and Procurement teams to execute sourcing strategies and supplier transitions.

- Advanced English proficiency, written and verbal.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and procurement systems.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade compliance fundamentals.

Stryker is seeking a Sourcing Manager, Best Cost Location (BCL) to support global supply base optimization initiatives across multiple sourcing categories. In this role, you will identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers in strategic low-cost regions while balancing cost, quality, compliance, and supply continuity. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive sourcing decisions, supplier qualification activities, and commercial negotiations within a regulated manufacturing environment.
