What you’ll be doing...

As Sourcing Manager in our Carrier Management team, you will be accountable for negotiating Network Access agreements, through defining and implementing optimal cost structures and contracting frameworks. Success in this position will require a proactive, creative thinker with strong analytical and negotiating skills. This is a critical role within a high-visibility, dynamic, high-performing team based out of Verizon’s East Point Business Park office.

• Negotiating commercial agreements with vendors.

• Running bidding activities for carrier management services.

• Establishing and leveraging relationships with contacts at other operators.

• Managing a portfolio of operating partners to ensure delivery of budgets, service level agreements and timelines.

• Providing insight, strategies and tactics to attain the optimum cost and best-in-class customer experience across a portfolio of operating partners.

• Identifying contract improvements, simplifications and optimization opportunities to drive better outcomes.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Relevant work experience.

• Experience in sourcing methods and best practices.

• To be considered for this role, applicants must already hold a valid right to work in Ireland. We are currently unable to support employment permit sponsorship. 

Even better if you have:

• Master’s degree in a related area.

• Experience in Telecommunications. Broad-based knowledge of the industry.

• Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.

• A passion to improve how we work, though maximizing the opportunities presented by AI.

• A collaborative approach to problem solving.

• Excellent  interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills.

• Comfort in working up and across the organization – from senior leaders to front line employees.

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be detail oriented with respect to ensuring deadlines are met. 

• Ability to flex from strategic thinking to detailed functional tasks.

• Proven record of performance and trusted professional credibility.

• Track record of handling extremely confidential information appropriately.
