Please note that this role is offered on a part-time basis, for 16 hours across two days per week. Weekend availability is essential. 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Reporting to the Spa Manager at W Edinburgh, as Spa Receptionist you will play an integral role in ensuring all our guests feel pampered and relaxed during their time with us. You are the warm welcome and fond farewell for all guests. 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do, loves to learn new skills, and will be an excellent brand ambassador! 

As Spa Receptionist, key aspects of your role will include: 

• Managing the reservations system by scheduling services for clients and large groups using spa reservation systems.

• Confirm/Amend upcoming scheduled treatments. 

• Update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day, inform providers of lastminute changes, and resolve scheduling issues as needed by working with supervisor/manager. 

• Check in guests for appointments, provide general spa orientation to guests upon arrival 

• Be highly knowledgeable about all products and treatments offered • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the Spa 

• Work well as a team with your fellow therapists and the wider hotel team to ensure our guests receive slick service throughout their stay
