Role Overview: Develop, implement, and maintain compliant IEPs. Track student progress using data collection and analysis. Collaborate with general education staff to support inclusive practices. Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals. Participate in evaluations, planning meetings, and multidisciplinary teams. Requirements Knowledge of IDEA regulations and IEP processes. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an approved Special Education preparation program. Passing scores on required Washington endorsement exams (e.g., WEST-E or equivalent). Valid Washington State Special Education teaching certificate (P–12) issued by OSPI, or eligibility to obtain.
