You’ll take the lead on developing and implementing IEPs, using data and progress monitoring to guide instruction and ensure student growth. Collaboration is key—working closely with general education teachers, specialists, administrators, and families to create consistency and success across learning environments. Through thoughtful differentiation and evidence-based practices, you’ll help foster a classroom culture that supports independence, confidence, and achievement for all learners. Key Responsibilities Include: Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting. Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with student goals. Collect and analyze data to inform instructional decisions and track progress. Partner with general education staff to support inclusive classroom practices. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, evaluations, and collaborative planning. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Valid Texas teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement. Completion of an approved Special Education teacher preparation program. Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and collaborative instructional practices.
