Full description from employer

Renew Living is one of Canberra's allied health clinics in the Proactive Health network, and we're looking for a Speech Pathologist to join the team.

You'll manage your own caseload of paediatric / adult / mixed NDIS clients, working alongside a multidisciplinary team who genuinely back each other. Every clinician here gets the room to do their best work — proper admin support, sensible caseloads, and the kind of clinical mentoring that helps you grow rather than just get through the week.

Day to day you'll:

  • Assess, diagnose and treat clients across [caseload areas — e.g. speech, language, fluency, voice, swallowing]
  • Write clear, goal-focused therapy plans and keep documentation up to scratch
  • Work with families, carers and other disciplines to get the best outcomes for each client
  • Contribute to a friendly, supportive clinic culture where clinicians actually want to stick around

This is a full-time role based at our Canberra Clinic

What's on offer:

  • $90K-$110K per annum plus super
  • We will support all aspects of your professional development
  • Amazing cultural space where you will be part of an amazing team.
  • The backing of a national network — training, career pathways, and a team that invests in its people

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status, or eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration for the ACT, or willingness to obtain one
  • [NDIS Worker Screening Check — include if the role involves NDIS clients]
  • Current Australian driver's licence
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine care for client outcomes
  • new graduates welcome

Benefits

The package:

  • Salary: $,000–$110,000 per annum (for employees), or competitive rates for contractors
  • Industry-leading KPI: Just 5 billable hours per day — genuinely the lowest we've seen in the sector
  • Revenue bonus program: Earn 10% of all revenue generated above your target
  • Caseload flexibility: Choose your preferred mix of NDIS, DVA, and Home Care clients — we shape the work around you
  • Employment flexibility: Employee or contractor — your choice
  • Clinical support: Dedicated Clinical Lead for mentoring plus regular supervision from the OT Team Leader
  • Service delivery options: Face-to-face, telehealth, home visiting, and kindy-based sessions
  • Professional development: Ongoing learning opportunities and clinical practice development within a supportive team environment
  • Sustainable workload: We're genuinely focused on OT wellbeing — not just saying it
