SQL DBA

Essential Functions Administers, monitors, maintains, upgrades and troubleshoots existing database infrastructure for development, staging, testing and production database environments. Designs, installs, implements, tests, documents, maintains and improves new database infrastructure components, databases, database applications, database interfaces, database replication, SSIS packages, stored procedures etc. Installs, configures, manages and maintains multiple databases, primarily MS SQL and Oracle. Performs regular and disaster backup and recovery of all databases, schema, tables, indexes, and data. Designs, implements and maintains high availability database replication infrastructure, optimizes and tunes performance, Performs updates, upgrades, patching and maintenance for database infrastructure and components , designs and executes database queries and data analysis Collaborates with staff in the design, development, tuning and problem resolution of database infrastructure, services, servers and applications. Creates and maintains documentation for databases, database infrastructure and database processes and procedures
