What you'll do

  • Perform and support all phases of the month-end close process, ensuring compliance with critical reporting deadlines
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, audit schedules, tax schedules, and other required financial reports in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze and reconcile key general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy and integrity
  • Assist with the annual external audit, providing required documentation and support to auditors
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial statements in alignment with Cabinetworks Group reporting requirements
  • Lead or contribute to the preparation of materials for monthly financial review meetings
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and leadership requests
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and controls, including GAAP and SOX requirements
  • Proactively plan for and support year-end accounting close processes
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within the accounting function
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to junior accounting team members to promote skill development and department effectiveness

Job Description

We are America’s largest privately held cabinetmaker, a best-in-class team of over 6,000 team members across 20 locations, including 15 manufacturing facilities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $115,000 annually plus bonus.

Performs and leads core accounting processes including month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance activities. Ensures accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial records in alignment with GAAP, SOX, and company policies. Provides leadership within the accounting team, including process improvement initiatives and mentoring of less experienced team members.
