- Executes accurate and timely transaction processing and executes settlement, reconciliation, and reporting activities across Vistra’s diverse energy portfolio.
- Executes complex tasks with a strong understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and controls.

- Prepare and analyze settlement data for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, supporting timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Lead wholesale activities such as the end-to-end settlement lifecycle, including data validation, dispute resolution, invoice generation, and revenue/cost recognition across various transaction types.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, contributing settlement insights to support business strategies and regulatory compliance.
- Participates in special projects as required.

Role Specific Accountabilities:
Prepare and analyze settlement data for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, supporting timely and accurate financial reporting.
Lead wholesale activities such as the end-to-end settlement lifecycle, including data validation, dispute resolution, invoice generation, and revenue/cost recognition across various transaction types.
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, contributing settlement insights to support business strategies and regulatory compliance.

Supports compliance with the departments accounting governance framework.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience:
3+ years of experience in Accounting or related field
Experience preferred in the Energy industry, but not required
Skills:
• Experience with accounting and/or reporting systems
• Strong financial analysis, problem solving & communication skills
• Process improvement oriented
• Fundamental understanding of the accounting close process
