Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Work extensively with Snowflake to implement and optimize data storage solutions.
- Utilize Data Vault methodology for data modelling and architecture.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to support data integration and reporting.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all data platforms.
- Monitor and maintain data systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of the data engineering processes.
Required Skills:
- Snowflake: Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing solutions.
- SQL: Very strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and reporting.
- Data Vault: Experience with Data Vault modelling for building scalable, flexible data architecture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
