$91,644.80 - $164,944.00

(based on a full time schedule of 40 hours per week).

Please note that the final offer will vary based on scheduled hours. Compensation for part-time or reduced schedules will be prorated based on scheduled weekly hours, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

The Senior Epic Client System Administrator supports, configures, and maintains Epic Client Systems to ensure reliable access to Epic applications across clinical and operational environments.

I. Major Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Epic components including Hyperspace, Interconnect, EPS, Web BLOB, MyChart, CareLink, Rover, Haiku.
• Support daily operations of Epic client systems and web/service servers.
• Troubleshoot system issues, performance problems, and integration failures.
• Participate in cloud migration tasks including endpoint updates, IRIS reinstall support, Kuiper and System Pulse operations.
• Collaborate with technical leads, application teams, and infrastructure teams.
• Acts as a technical leader and mentor to up and coming team members.
• Ability to effectively articulate recommended solutions to project teams, management, and executive leadership.
• Takes lead on large projects, initiatives, and complex changes.

II. Position Qualifications

License/Certification/Education:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience/Skills:

• 6+ years in Healthcare IT in an Epic Client Systems role.
• Technical expertise in Windows Server, Epic client distribution tools, and web/service servers.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with clinical and technical teams.
• Ability to document procedures, configurations, and operational playbooks.
• Adaptability in fast‑paced healthcare and cloud‑migration environments.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for Epic client systems and Windows Server environments.
• Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell) for automation and system management.
• Understanding of Azure, virtual infrastructure, and cloud‑hosted workflows.
• Ability to manage client distribution tools and web/service server architecture.
• Experience supporting clinical and operational teams in a healthcare environment.
• Strong documentation skills for technical procedures and operational workflows.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, rapidly evolving technical environments.

Preferred:

• Experience with Citrix, Azure, Imprivata, Layer 2/3 networking.

• Epic Certifications: Hyperspace Deployment Administration (Client Access to Hyperspace) and Web and Service Server Administration, including Hyperspace Web, MyChart, Interconnect, and Web BLOB/Business Continuity Access (BCA)/Epic Print Service (EPS). Candidates who do not possess these certifications at the time of hire must obtain them within 12 months of their start date.
• Microsoft Certifications: Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102), Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (MD-102), and Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800/AZ-801). Candidates who do not possess these certifications at the time of hire must obtain them within 12 months of their start date.

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
