Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Woven Fabric Merchandiser to manage fabric sourcing, development, costing, order follow-up, and coordination between fabric suppliers, garment production teams, buyers, and internal departments. The candidate should have good knowledge of woven fabrics and garment manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Handle woven fabric sourcing and merchandising from development through bulk production.
Develop fabrics according to buyer specifications, including composition, construction, GSM, width, finish, color, and performance requirements.
Coordinate with fabric mills and suppliers for fabric development, sampling, lab dips, strike-offs, and approvals.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of woven fabrics such as cotton, linen, viscose, rayon, polyester, Tencel, poplin, twill, satin, dobby, jacquard, denim, etc.
Good understanding of fabric construction, GSM, yarn count, weave, finishes, shrinkage, and testing parameters.
Experience in fabric costing and supplier negotiation.
Good knowledge of garment production and export merchandising.
Ability to read and understand tech packs and fabric specifications.
Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
Good communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel and merchandising/ERP systems.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple developments/orders simultaneously.
Qualification
Graduate in Textile Technology, Apparel/Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
2–6 years of relevant experience in woven fabric merchandising/sourcing, preferably with a garment export house or buying house.
