Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Rapid flashing lights, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.), Warehouse, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

Location/Division Specific Information:

As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG), the High Point, NC site focuses on gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels).  We offer extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgels technologies.

How Will You Make an Impact?

The Medicine Associate/Sr Formulation Technician will be responsible for manufacturing a quality fill material for use in our encapsulation process. 

A Day in the Life:

  • Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs, Batch Records, cGMP’s, and MSDS memos.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Required:  Minimum of 2 years of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field

  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

  • Preferred: Pallet Jack and Forklift experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations and troubleshooting skills.

  • The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation.

  • Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.

  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Close and color vision is required.
