About this role

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Mechanical Engineer to lead and contribute to complex mechanical engineering projects. In this senior role, you will provide technical expertise, oversee design and development processes, and mentor junior engineers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, efficient, and reliable mechanical solutions that meet client and industry standards. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for various projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Conduct detailed engineering analyses and review designs to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute projects effectively.
  • Review project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges during all stages of design and development.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation.
  • Ensure all mechanical engineering activities adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on complex projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and client interaction.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
