Job Description:

The Senior QA/DevOps & System Engineer is responsible for supporting the development, deployment, and maintenance of software systems, with a focus on quality assurance and DevOps practices. This role involves working closely with senior engineers and developers to ensure software quality, streamline development processes, and maintain IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
2. Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs and ensure software quality.
3. Document and track defects, working with developers to resolve issues.
4. Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
5. Monitor and manage build processes, ensuring successful deployments.
6. Assist in automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
7. Help maintain, monitor, and optimize IT infrastructure and systems.
8. Assist in the setup and configuration of servers, networks, and other system components.
9. Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to internal users.
10. Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of code and systems.
11. Participate in team meetings, providing updates on tasks and contributing to discussions.
12. Create and maintain technical documentation for QA processes, CI/CD pipelines, and system configurations.
13. Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
14. Stay current with new technologies, tools, and industry best practices in QA, DevOps, and system engineering.
15. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities to enhance technical skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• 3-5 yrs of equivalent experience will be considered.
• Relevant internships or project experience in QA, DevOps, or system engineering is preferred.
• Basic understanding of QA methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Git).
• Knowledge of system administration tasks and tools.
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Shell scripting).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Salary Range: INR 5,00,000 - INR 8,00,000 per annum
