  • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and provide recommendations to improve financial processes and controls.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support operational and leadership decision-making.

The Role:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the convention center. The position performs general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end and year-end close activities, financial reporting, and event-related accounting and settlements. The Staff Accountant also supports budgeting and forecasting, maintains accurate financial records, assists with internal controls and compliance, and provides documentation and support for internal and external audits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
