This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the staff canteen, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compliant food service for employees across the venue.
What you'll be doing
- Setting up and preparing the staff canteen ahead of lunch service, ensuring the area is clean, organised, and fully stocked
- Liaising with the Operations team to ensure menus and allergen information are accurate, with correct food labels displayed alongside all dishe
- Supporting the smooth and efficient service of food to staff during lunch periods
- Monitoring stock levels and ensuring effective stock rotation, including date checking and minimising waste
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation throughout service
- Ensuring the canteen is replenished and prepared for the following service period
What we're looking for
- Good knowledge of food, allergens, and Food Safety Management procedures
- Previous experience working within a hospitality, catering, or food service environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working independently while supporting a wider team
- A proactive and hands-on approach to daily operations
Good to know
Pay rate: Up to £16.80 per hour
Contract type: Casual contract.
Working pattern: Predominantly Monday to Friday, approximately 9:30am to 6:00pm, with occasional weekend working based on operational requirements.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, allergen compliance, and staff service.
