  • Review and approve design documentation, schematics, and board layouts, drawing on deep experience in analog, digital, and power circuit design

  • Develop and execute thorough test plans to validate hardware and firmware performance, durability, and compliance with product specifications
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues efficiently using hands-on lab tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers

  • Thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments alongside firmware, hardware, regulatory, and systems engineering teams

What You Will Be Doing

ChargePoint is looking for a motivated and creative Staff Electrical Systems Engineer to drive the design, development, testing, and manufacturing of our DC fast charging products. In this role, you'll take ownership of the technical direction, system architecture, and key design trade-offs. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team spanning power electronics, mechanical, electrical, thermal, PCB design, regulatory, quality, reliability, and test engineering. Your systems-level expertise and technical leadership will guide our HV DC fast chargers from early-stage concepts through to deployment in the field.

Location

Campbell, CA

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $150,000 to $180,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and specific work location.
