Static Equipment Designer

Key Responsibilities:Design and drafting of static equipment such as pressure vessels, reactors, heat exchangers, storage tanks, columns, etc.Interpret and implement design codes (ASME, API, TEMA, etc.) and client specifications.Prepare fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and detailed BOMs.Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure technical accuracy and manufacturability.Review and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.Resolve design-related issues and provide technical support during manufacturing and inspection stages.Key Requirements:Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 7 years of experience in static equipment design in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC industry.Proficiency in AutoCAD, PV Elite, Compress, SolidWorks, or similar software.Strong understanding of international design codes like ASME Section VIII, API 650/620, TEMA, etc.Excellent drafting and detailing skills with high attention to accuracy.Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:Exposure to 3D modeling tools like PDMS, SP3D, or Inventor.Experience working on international projects.Ability to independently handle design from concept to fabrication stage.
