Strategic Segment Marketing –Market Intelligence Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical, business-savvy engineer who enjoys discovering market opportunities, uncovering industry trends, and turning complex data into strategic business recommendations. This role serves as the market intelligence hub for Strategic Segment Marketing (SSM) and directly influences investment decisions, solution roadmaps, and growth strategies. This function requires collaboration with SSM segment leaders, consultants, business leaders and finance in developing segment-based market analysis that assists in identifying market opportunities and gaps. In addition to Market Analysis, the role includes multiple responsibilities within solutions, including block diagram analysis, performing teardowns, BOM analysis, and understanding and communicating conclusions to segment leads and management. 

The successful candidate will combine their technical background with a strong work ethic, driving continuous learning toward understanding systems, business, market trends, marketing and partnerships. Success in this role includes:

• Identification of market opportunities that others have overlooked. 
• Quantifying markets, predicting trends, and influencing investment.
• Development of content and campaigns that generate measurable business impact. 
• Building relationships across internal and external ecosystems to accelerate solution adoption. 
• Bringing new ideas, challenging assumptions, and continuously improving how we engage customers.

This multi-faceted role requires working cross-functionally across the SSM team, in addition to onsemi’s product and corporate marketing teams.
