Permanent / Contract Opportunity
Are you an experienced Structural Design Engineer with a background in the marine or shipbuilding sector? We are supporting an exciting programme within the naval marine industry and are looking for talented engineers to join a growing team working on complex vessel design and engineering projects.
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, modelling and development of ship structures, contributing to the delivery of high-profile naval vessel programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to work with industry-leading engineering tools and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on technically challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Structural modelling and design of ship structures, including bulkheads and decks.
- Production of detailed structural drawings and engineering documentation.
- Shell modelling and structural development activities.
- Creation of nesting information to support manufacturing processes.
- Work closely with design, engineering and production teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Maintain engineering data and documentation within PLM systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Structural Engineer within marine, shipbuilding or defence environments.
- Previous experience working on naval ship programmes. -
