What you’ll do

As a Structural Engineer in our Buildings team based in Brisbane, you’ll contribute to a diverse portfolio of multidisciplinary projects across aviation, sports and stadia, transport infrastructure, tertiary, health and defence as well as our established pipeline of BNE32 projects and Olympics-related opportunities.

You’ll join a close, collaborative and technically strong team that supports one another and combines local connection with the backing of Aurecon’s Global reach and expertise.

• Develop practical structural solutions and undertake engineering analysis and design for building projects

• Lead packages of work, coordinating technical inputs, priorities and delivery

• Work directly with clients and provide clear, high-quality advice throughout project delivery

• Collaborate with architects, builders and multidisciplinary teams across Aurecon to explore integrated solutions with our partners and clients on projects that support the future of the Built Environment.

• Contribute to technical excellence and have a future focused approach to technology and ways of working.

What you’ll bring

• A relevant civil or structural engineering qualification and structural engineering experience, ideally in building structures

• Around five years’ relevant experience as a guide, while welcoming candidates slightly either side

• The ability to develop practical structural solutions and work confidently through engineering analysis

• Strong client communication, collaboration, leadership, organisation and time-management skills
