A Day in the Life

As an IT Health Application Student Worker within Medtronic's Cardiac Rhythm Management team, you will support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of digital health solutions used for cardiac implant management. You will work with hospitals, IT teams, and healthcare professionals to ensure successful implementation of the CareLink SmartSync Programmer and related technologies. 


Internship Details:
• Start Date: September 2026 
• Location: Brussels/Belgium 
• Duration: 12 months 
· Working hours: 15-20 hours per week
· Work Model: Hybrid, frequent customer visits in Belgium and Luxemburg (>80%) 

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Installation, configuration, and testing of medical IT solutions
• Coordinating equipment deliveries and returns
• Providing on-site and remote customer support
• Delivering user training and connectivity guidance
• Performing software and hardware updates
• Documenting activities in CRM systems
• Contributing to process improvements and IT integration projects


Required Knowledge and Skills:
· Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Digital Health, Biomedical Engineering, Networking, or a related field
· Fluent in Dutch or French; good command of English
· Strong interest in healthcare technology, analytical, organized
· Good interpersonal skills
· Valid driving license and access to a vehicle required
